Courmayeur → Chamonix via the Beaufortain in relief: a 27 × 18 cm map carved from a solid block of lime wood after the real terrain (Mont Blanc massif, Beaufortain · Italy, France). The route, 145 km and 9,500 m of elevation gain, is laser-engraved onto the milled wood, pass after pass. Follows the TDS® course (~145 km). Independent product, not affiliated with the organiser; TDS® is a trademark of its owner. Each map is milled on request in our workshop in Haute-Savoie: roughing with a flat end mill, a finishing pass that follows every ridge, then the laser for the route. It comes in an A4 frame; the relief rises more than 3 cm out of it.
