Hautes-Pyrénées loop from Vielle-Aure in relief: a 27 × 18 cm map carved from a solid block of lime wood after the real terrain (Central Pyrenees · France). The route, 174 km and 10,400 m of elevation gain, is laser-engraved onto the milled wood, pass after pass. Follows the Grand Raid des Pyrénées® Ultra course (~174 km). Each map is milled on request in our workshop in Haute-Savoie: roughing with a flat end mill, a finishing pass that follows every ridge, then the laser for the route. It comes in an A4 frame; the relief rises more than 3 cm out of it.
